August 11, 2009 00:08 AM  BY  AMY MORBY

Warmzone's Portable Snow Removal Systems Bring Snow Removal to you, no Matter Where you are.

You’ve heard of radiant heated driveways and they’re stellar snow melting power. You’ve seen the magnificently snow-free driveways they produce and the overjoyed customers they please, but did you know that all of this also comes in a portable version? It’s true—radiant heat that goes with you is finally possible.

Warmzone’s WarmTrax Portable Snow Removal Systems are the miniature, pocket version of a radiant heated driveway. Designed to be as durable as a tire, these rubber mats will melt snow wherever you want whenever you want. All you have to do is roll the mat out on an existing surface, plug it in, and let it melt the snow—no shovels, ice melter, or harsh chemicals required.

The WarmTrax portable snow removal system allows you to reap the benefits of a radiant heated driveway without having to install anything. You can place your WarmTrax mats over stairways, handicap ramps, entryways, or even rooftops and then move it and take it to the next snow-riddled area. Radiant heat has never been so flexible.

WarmTrax snowmelt systems have a continuous chevron pattern and heat continually, obliterating snow and ice before it has a chance to accumulate and leave you on your buttocks. What’s more, the WarmTrax snowmelt system eliminates the need for ice melter, which not only leaves a mess on your shoes, but also wreaks havoc on your concrete.

Heating Systems Aren't Just For Indoor Use Anymore

December 30, 2008 00:12 AM  BY  STACEY BARRUS

Most homeowners think that once they’ve raked the leaves off their lawn and planted flower bulbs for next spring, there’s not much else to do for your lawn, landscaping, or flowerbeds. But just because it’s wintertime doesn’t mean you can’t protect your garden or lawn. In the colder months, heating systems are the best option to melt the ice and to protect your landscaping. Heating systems like heated driveways actually do more than just melt snow and ice from driveways and sidewalks. They also help preserve your landscaping while avoiding the use of harmful salt and chemicals.

Salt spread over asphalt and sidewalks to melt the ice can do a good bit of damage to lawns and landscape plants. When salt products are spread over streets and walkways, the salt inevitably splashes onto nearby foliage. The sodium chloride burns the plants and gets absorbed by the plants’ root systems. This just means you’ll have damage to repair in the springtime — so easily avoided with the use of heating systems.

Alternate ice-melt products won’t work as effectively as outdoor heating systems, either. You see, these systems don’t use any harmful chemicals, and they melt the ice so effectively that you don’t have to do any of the work. These heating systems are state of the art but easy to install for any contractor or do-it-yourself expert.

Heating Systems Tip: Snow melting heating systems can be installed in almost any driveway and can be retrofit into existing concrete and asphalt.

Will the Kids in Your Neighborhood Be Out of a Job This Winter?

November 02, 2008 00:11 AM  BY  STACEY BARRUS

Remember the days when a job to a neighborhood kid meant a paper route or shoveling snow off peoples’ driveways after a snow storm? Everyone knew kids at school who had good, steady pocket money with their one-man snow shoveling operations each winter. But with the arrival of affordable and convenient outdoor heating systems for your driveway, sidewalk, and stoop, those neighborhood kids could lose many customers this coming winter. Heated driveways can take care of the snow and ice without trouble or hard work.

Some of the obvious benefits to outdoor heating systems are, of course, not having to shovel your driveway again, avoiding injury due to slippery surfaces, and having the confidence that your driveway will be cleared when you need to use it. Concrete driveways and asphalt driveways are both suitable for the installation of such outdoor heating systems.

Other notable benefits include adding value to your home, preserving the life of your driveway, and avoiding damage to bordering landscape with harmful salts and chemicals. Lastly, adding a heated driveway to your home or business will add safety and value to your property. If you live in a cold region that requires snow removal you should consider an automated snow melting system before you begin construction or put the house on the market to assure yourself the best design and performance…and resale value.

Outdoor Heating Systems Tip: There are numerous, affordable outdoor heating systems available to prevent roof and gutter damage, as well.
