Warmzone has
a brand new product that we are excited to tell you
about! When most of us think of a roof de-icing
system, we think of a complicated, expensive
system that is time consuming to install. This is
definitely true in the past, but our newest radiant roof
and gutter heating system has changed all that.
Introducing Technitrace
roof and gutter ice melting cables!
What sets Technitrace leaps and bounds above
the competition is the self-regulating core. When
the temperature drops, the Technitrace system will
increase wattage and heat to accomplish ice and
snow melting. Other roof and gutter ice melting
systems have constant wattage; making them work less
effectively as the temperature drops and
fluctuates at night and in colder times during the
winter season. The self-regulating core of the
Technitrace system is sophisticated enough to gage
outside temperature and adjust heating
accordingly.
The simple
design installs easily into the gutter of your home, and
can also be used to prevent pipes from freezing,
roof damage due to heavy accumulations of ice, and
ice build-up in drainpipes. The system is a simple
UL listed cable with a 100 percent tinned copper braid,
fluoropolymer outer jacket and a continuous ground band.
The end result is a reliable cable durable enough
to withstand harsh winter weather, and melts ice
safely and efficiently.
Much like a
standard snow melting system, when the cable is used in
conjunction with a snow/ice sensor, your customers
won’t have to worry about turning their ice
roof system on when the system is needed. The
sensor will activate the roof and gutter ice melting
system when temperatures drop below 39° F or
when precipitation is detected.
If there is
heavy snow and ice buildup on the roof every winter, the
long term benefits of installing a Technitrace
system far outweighs the cost. Roofs of older
homes are visible examples of the long term effects
heavy snow and ice cause. Replacing a roof is a
costly business and many times home owners have to
take out a home equity loan to do it. Installing a
Technitrace system is an inexpensive and smart way to
protect your investment.
